Strategy

The following is one strategy that you can use to kill Proteus

Group Requirements
  • Need about 20+ people, all 215+ with full EDL
  • Tank group
    • 2 Tanks with max vit and good tank gear
      • 1 main tank
      • 1 offtank
    • 4-5 druids with wards, bark, and other standard buffs
  • DPS groups
    • Warriors with bash
      • Bash will give druids more time to heal due to less dps on tank
      • Shield Bash will interrupt the heal if timed right
    • Mages with level 50 lures to take out damage shields
    • Rogues DPS skills with a couple smoke/expose rogues
    • Rangers do your thing. Use bolas when he enrages.
Fight Strategy
  • Offtank stands in front of doorway, and ranged dps brings the adds to him to tank.
  • Main tank engages Proteus, and keeps him in the middle of the room.
    • main tank stands between door and Proteus
    • This is so the Offtank can be in range for Natures Breath
  • Druids stand to side of Proteus healing the tank
  • All DPS should stand to the sides of Proteus to avoid Power Surge freeze skill
  • Mages need to use level 50 lures to take out the damage shields
  • Rotor Blades AoE
    • An emote says "Proteus winds up a powerful attack"
    • Non-ranged DPS should run away, then come back when rotor blades is done
    • Bash should interrupt this too
  • At low life Proteus heals himself. Shield Bash will interrupt the heal if timed right (info from touchedbyfire/Arawn)
  • Proteus enrages at 15 minutes
    • Rangers use bolas, and Tank walks Proteus around the room
